Dipper FAQ

Why buy the Dipper?
The Dipper allows you to consume concentrate right from its container with our Vapor Tip as well as pack up a pen on-the-go with our Quartz Crystal Atomizer. It is built for extreme durability, reliability, and easy cleaning. The Dipper has three power settings, which allow for a robust vaping experience and includes a comprehensive one year warranty. Additionally, you can use our DipWhip Attachment to connect to your favorite glass piece.

What’s the best way to clean my Dipper?
Unscrew the atomizer and remove the reclaim chamber(if your Dipper is extremely soiled, you may need to use an alcohol soaked q-tip to clean around the chamber to be able to remove) and mouthpiece. Place the atomizer, mouthpiece, and reclaim chamber in a small cup and pour on enough 90+% isopropyl alcohol to cover them. Let soak for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, use a q-tip soaked in the alcohol to clean the atomizer connection point and airway. Remove the pieces from the alcohol and rinse. Do not rinse the battery and do not soak the battery. Re-attach the reclaim chamber, atomizer, and mouthpiece before attempting to use your Dipper again.

What is the difference between the Vapor Tip Atomizer and the Quartz Crystal Atomizer, and how do I use them?
The Vapor Tip Atomizer allows you to consume concentrate without loading and with a fresh taste with each hit. Hold the button and lightly draw through the mouthpiece (don’t pull too hard or you won’t get a solid hit!) while touching the Vapor Tip Atomizer to the concentrate. Continue holding the button as you remove the Atomizer from the concentrate to ensure you do not leave any residual stickiness and get the full hit.

The Quartz Crystal Atomizer allows you to pre-load concentrate and consume via the mouthpiece without carrying any additional container. This Atomizer provides a smooth hit and eliminates the burnt taste with many other pre-load pen vaporizers. When in use (and ideally in storage as well), keep the device upright to avoid hot concentrate dripping out of the atomizer.

To change Dipper power setting, press the button 3 times.

How do I change atomizers?
Unscrew the atomizer that is attached and make sure the device and connection point are thoroughly cleaned. Screw in your preferred atomizer. Always keep the Atomizers and Reclaim Chamber clean when switching between attachments!

Can I use CBD with my Dipper?
Yes, the Dipper works great for CBD concentrates. We recommend Steve’s Goods for the best CBD concentrate experience.

How long should an Atomizer last?
Vapor Tip and Quartz Crystal Atomizers should last between 6-8 weeks with standard usage and proper maintenance. If you are having issues with a properly cleaned and maintained Atomizer sooner than this, please reach out with specifics!

What is the Vapor Tip made out of?
The Vapor Tip is ceramic with a NiChrome coil in the center.

What do I do when my Dipper cycles colors or blinks blue?
Make sure your device and atomizer are both thoroughly cleaned. On a clean device, this can occur due to an atomizer that is too loose or too tight. Try gently loosening or tightening the atomizer in small increments. You can also try turning the device off and then on again. If these don't solve your problem, please reach out to support@dipdevices.com or use our chat feature.

What are the differences between the Dipstick and the Dipper?
The original Dipstick is a good product, but we have taken customer feedback and designed the Dipper to alleviate most, if not all, of the common issues our customers were experiencing. We will stop selling the original when we have sold inventory on hand. We remain committed to anyone who purchased or chooses to purchase the original Dipstick and will do our best to maintain their devices. The Dipper has improved performance across a variety of functions. It has a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and 3 power settings to allow for better user experience and control over your concentrate consumption. We have also reduced the number of removable parts to keep track of and clean. Perhaps the biggest addition is that the Dipper also comes with a Quartz Crystal Atomizer that allows you to use it as a pre-loaded concentrate pen as well.
